About - Apple Creek Studios

Apple Creek uses 24-track digital recording equipment with automated mixdown (moving faders). Our main vocal mikes are Rode wide-diaphragm condensers, with plenty of SM-57s and other high quality dynamic mikes for drums, guitar amps, etc. We have a piano and acoustic drums as well as Roland V-Drums.

We are signatory to the American Federation of Musicians collective bargaining agreement, and thus have access to the best musicians in the world. Bill Poe, our chief engineer, has an engineering degree from Georgia Tech and has been a member of Nashville Local 257 of the AFM for many years.
